PRE-GAME GLORY

Something’s brewing boys and girls. The Australian provinces are having their best Super 14 season in years and running Rugby is back! The QLD Reds are by far the most improved Australian Super 14 side – so to celebrate, come bask with Matty & Patty in the PRE-GAME GLORY area in the front bar at The CAXTON HOTEL from 4.30pm onwards this Friday the 23rd April (& again on Saturday the 15th May.) Matty & Patty will SHOUT YOU your first beer, the atmos will be rife and come 7.15pm, Glory Chasers will march down to the CAULDRON amongst the RED ARMY and watch the QLD Reds rain down on the Stormers & beat down on the Highlanders!

    Game Day! Oh yeah. Thanks for all the man love Gents – I hope you’ve all signed up as Glory chasers. The horse feels good (Thanks Ben), our faces feel pretty (thanks Andrew and Lachy) and we are getting revved up for a Reds victory tonight! Loving the Glory.

    Thanks to the ‘glory boys’ for the ‘gee up’ for last Friday nights Reds victory that saw the HIGHEST RANKED AUSTRALIAN SIDE down the Stormers in a thriller in Brisbane.

    It is possible the 3 point victory would not have materialised had the ‘glory boys’ not been in attendance and, as one ABC reporter put it, all been “screaming themselves hoarse”. I am proud to say I was there, representing Australian rugby union, and in my own way – Chasing The Glory.

    Bring on the finals… :p
